Saturday, May 22, is Gluten Free Day!
Vintage Farmer will be sampling their fresh-baked breads and muffins.
Dr. in the Kitchen will sample Flackers crackers along with Guse Green Grocer’s gluten free spreads created by our very own Mary.
Other samplings include Red Shell Japanese Miso Dressing with fresh veggies.
Drop in between 10:30 and 1:20 this Saturday to see and taste a variety of Gluten Free items!
It’s National Soy Month!
Help Guse Green Grocer celebrate National Soy Month the afternoon of Saturday, April 24. We’ll be sampling soy yogurt, soymilks, and other fun soyfoods. Liz will also be around to answer any of your soy-related food or nutrition questions. As a gift from Minnesota Soybean’s Research & Promotion council, the first 50 people at Guse after 1 p.m. will receive a bag of soy goodies, including candles, lip balm, and chocolate-covered soynuts. See you there!

It’s about time we send out a big thank you to everyone who came to our Grand Opening last week. You helped make it a great success. I know everyone at Guse Green Grocer had a lot of fun meeting and talking to our new and current customers and we hope you had fun too!

Events for the Day
9:00 – 10:30am What’s for Breakfast
Bliss Granola and Roastery 7 will be offering samples. Rustica breads and pastries will be on the shelf!
10:30 – 12:00 Lunch Time
There will be Holy Land and Guse Green Grocer deli samples. Mary makes the best sandwiches. Get a copy of our deli menu.
12:30 – 2:00 Snacks
There will be Uppercrust and Tivoli baked goods and ice cream samples and Mrs. Kelly’s award-winning tea.
3:30 – 5:30 Who’s Coming for Dinner?
Thousand Hills Cattle Company and Callister Farms will be grilling samples of beef and chicken. Sunrise Creative Gourmet is going to wow you with pasta and sauce samples. Pick up Liz’s famous recipes of the past 5 weeks and ask Liz your food nutrition questions.
7:00 – 9:00 Evening “Kick Back”
We will be offering guests Hanks soda, fruit trays, Rustica baguettes, and cheese…a time to mingle.
